What is the dress code?
Formal attire. Suits and formal dresses are perfect. Dress to impress and be comfortable dancing the night away! Our ceremony and reception will both be indoors. The bridal party is wearing forest green.
How will dinner be served?
Our reception will feature a variety of chef stations and passed hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening in place of a traditional seated dinner. We invite you to mingle, graze, and enjoy the night with us.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but our reception will be adults-only. Children are welcome to attend the ceremony.
How is transportation and parking handled at the ceremony and reception venues?
At the Basilica of Our Lady, there is plenty of parking. At the Victoria Park Pavilion, there is limited parking. Please plan to park at your hotel and Uber to the venue or use an overnight public parking lot in Downtown Kitchener. There will not be a shuttle service.
Is there a registry?
Your love and support mean the world to us. In place of a traditional registry, we are wishing for contributions to our honeymoon.
Will we be changing our last names?
Neither of us will be changing our last name.
Does the ceremony include a Catholic mass?
Yes! The ceremony will be a full Catholic nuptial mass and will run approximately one hour.
What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
There will be approximately a 2-hour gap between the ceremony and reception. The reception is about a 30 minute drive away, so feel free to check into the hotel.
